Dr. Symone Campbell is a Research Fellow with the Siegel Family Endowment, specializing in research at the intersection of K-12 education and AI technology. Dr. Campbell is also an Adjunct Professor at Howard University in the Center for Applied Data Science and Analytics (CADSA). 

Dr. Campbell places a strong emphasis on the sociotechnical aspects of technology through examining the cultural usage and creation of Black-owned digital technologies, specifically tailored for Black K-12 students. She highlights the pivotal roles of Black technologists and community advocates in providing students with essential digital tools, paving the way for a more just future. 

Dr. Campbell's research provides implications for tech policy, responsible AI systems, and human-computer interaction while actively shaping discourse and contributing to the understanding of such critical areas. Her commitment to this field is exemplified through research engagements with prominent organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the National Science Foundation.
